Hello Everyone! My name is Cobi Clark and I am running for Auburn City Council. I am a lifelong South Sound resident and a top 40 under 40 South Sound Business professional. After delivering more than 300 homes to Washington State, I sold my construction business share to pursue a career in public service.
Additionally, I am finishing a degree in Economics and Policy Analysis in preparation for my role as a policy maker. I recently completed my capstone by working for Senator Jeff Wilson during the 2025 legislative session, where I conducted policy research and analysis for the Senator.
I would like to bring my experience as a housing producer to the City of Auburn, to help foster an environment conducive to the production of affordable housing. I also expect to bring my experience as a policy analyst, by listening to each Auburn resident and crafting policy that will best meet the needs of the community without undermining the freedom and autonomy of the individual.
My commitment to you is that I will always listen twice and speak once. In consideration of that commitment, I have prepared a community survey highlighting a collection of policy ideas, please consider taking a look and responding to the survey so that we may align our policy goals.

About Me
I grew up in the City of Covington before starting my first business and moving to Seattle to get into real estate development. After securing my career I settled down with my high school sweetheart and decided to start a family in Auburn. My son learned to walk in Isaac Evans Park and learned to swim at the local pool. He continues to enjoy the city’s many amenities, and my wife and I continue to enjoy Auburn’s parks after dark program! We are expecting another boy this November and are thrilled that we will get to continue raising our family here. More information about my professional career may be found on LinkedIn by pressing the button below.
My Campaign
I think the most pressing issues for the City of Auburn right now are affordable housing, civil rights, and economic development. I would like to see the empty parking lots around the mall and distressed commercial areas zoned for high density housing (ideally for purchase rather than rent), I want to ensure the city’s new court and police uphold rule of law and due process, and I want to make doing business in our city seamless and efficient. I would also like to hear from you about what you think the most pressing issues are. If you are interested, please take a look at the policy survey by clicking the link below, it contains a sampling of other more technical policy proposals and requests community feedback.
